Dogs take over the runway at New Yorkie Doggie Fashion show
Former "Top Chef" and New York restaurant owner Niki Cascone struts down the runway with pups Lucy and Guiseppe on the New Yorkie Doggie Fashion Show runway.
(Credit: New Yorkie Runway)(CBS) At the New Yorkie Runway show this Fashion Week , it isn't the long-leggy models who will be the center of attention; instead it will be the four-legged dogs sporting canine couture.

The doggie fashion show held on Feb. 10 at the New Yorker Hotel is a benefit for the Angel On A Leash foundation, which creates therapy dog programs in health-care facilities across the country.
In addition to the dogs and their owners going down the runway, Miss USA Alyssa Campanella will also strut down the catwalk with the animals. In addition, David Frei, also known as the Voice of Westminster, will keep things interesting as the emcee of the event.
All of the proceeds are going to the Angels on A Leash foundation.
