An Indiana judge approved of the plea deal Portwood made with prosecutors in her case last month. It allows her to avoid a 5-year prison sentence by completing a court-mandated rehab program, reports TMZ.
Portwood will remain in custody while the Drug Court team evaluates her case. The evaluation could take up to two weeks, according to TMZ. Once she is accepted into the program, she will be released from jail.
The "Teen Mom" has already completed a stint in rehab at Seasons Recovery Center in Malibu after her June 2011 suicide attempt.
