Juliette Lewis' rep says racy photo is not actress

(CBS) Juliette Lewis is not the naked woman in a photo making the rounds online, her publicist says.

A photo showing a woman reportedly having sex with fashion photographer Terry Richardson made headlines this week after Gawker posted the NSFW shot.

The website noted how Lewis did a shoot with Richardson a few years ago and quickly put two and two together by suggesting it was a racy shot of Lewis.

Not so, says the actress-singer's rep.

"The image that you have on your site right now is not of her," Lewis' publicist explained to Gawker. "I need it taken down immediately and the story retracted. It is correct that she did a shoot with Terry several years ago but this is absolutely not a shot from that shoot nor does this image even have her in it."

Lewis stars in the new NBC drama, "The Firm."
