Princess Charlene joins Monaco royals at the circus

(Credit: VALERY HACHE)(CBS) Newlywed Princess Charlene of Monaco took part Tuesday night in the closing ceremonies for the 36th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival.
In her first circus appearance as a royal, she joined her husband, Prince Albert II, and his sister, Princess Stephanie, in handing out awards. Stephanie's daughters Pauline, 17, and Camille 13, also were on hand.

Acts from 29 countries took part in the event, which was set up by Albert's father, Prince Rainier.
The festival's top award, the Golden Clown, went to acrobats from China and Germany.
Princess Stephanie heads the judging panel for the prestigious gold, silver and bronze clown awards.
