A source told the U.K.'s Daily Mail the couple plans to have a house built above the Los Angeles-area waterfall, inspired by architect Frank Lloyd Wright's 1930s Fallingwater home in Pennsylvania.
"Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house," a source told the Daily Mail. "He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept."
"Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect," the insider added. "This is the present to top all presents."
Pitt recently sold his Malibu, Calif. home to Ellen DeGeneres.
