Alec Baldwin mocks American Airlines incident on "Saturday Night Live"

(CBS) Lest you thought the Alec Baldwin-American Airlines feud was over, think again - the actor has taken the war of words to "Saturday Night Live."

Baldwin made a cameo on the show Saturday night posing as the pilot on the American Airlines flight he was removed from last week, reportedly for refusing to turn off his cell phone while playing "Words with Friends."

The "30 Rock" actor, dressed as the mustachioed Captain Steve Rogers, used the opportunity to issue an apology - to himself.

"It was awful Seth," he drawled to "Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers of the plane incident. "Which is why it was important for me to come tonight here and, on behalf of everyone at American Airlines, issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin!"

"Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure, and I am ashamed at the way he was treated," he added.

Baldwin, as Capt. Rogers, also told Meyers that "Words with Friends" is a game for smart people and scoffed at the rules about not using electronic devices on airplanes.

'Twas the night before fatso and all through the 'plane,
Not a creature was stirring: not even William Devane.

Caviar was readied in first-class with care,
In hopes that a gastronome soon would be there.

The children were nestled near the bulkhead asleep,
Far from the cockpit, counting white sheep.

Julia Roberts in her kerchief, Hugh Grant in his cap,
Had just settled down for a cross-country nap.

When out on the runway there arose such a chatter,
They sprang from their seats to see what was the matter.

Away to the front door they rushed quickly,
Striding, bounding and running: not at all sickly.

The moon shining brightly on all things below,
Gave luster to Alec: a cheery warm glow.

And, as they all watched, he said to his driver:
"You're not a reindeer -- get out and open my door!"

The little old man ran 'round to obey,
But Alec was not in a good mood that day.

More rapid than eagles his curses they came,
He whistled and shouted foul oaths and bad names.

Beetlejuice! Beethoven! Beef Wellington! Rod Steiger!
Pancakes, apple dumplings and Michelle Pfeiffer!

His former girlfriends and wives were hitched to his sleigh,
And he called upon them to help him make his way.

Now Hilaria, now Kim! Now Nicole and Tatum!
On Jennifer! On Holly! On Anna, and Kristen!

To the top of the gangplank! Hear the Captain's call!
Now, dash away, dash! 'Til I'm less wide than tall!

As page after page in a bad screenplay fly,
Alec jumped on the 'plane with an angry eye.

So into first-class he with curses fast flew,
To sit in the front, as he is oft wont to do.

He was dressed all in silk; with gel in his hair,
With his Hollywood manners, none could compare.

A bundle of Ipads he had flung on his back,
He looked like Saint Nicholas opening his pack.

He turned on his Ipad to tweet and to twit,
To type words polite, apropos, kind and fit.

His web, how it Twittered! His Sugarplum, Fairy!
He wrote about turkey and sauce of cranberry!

His volatile temper was all set to blow,
And the hair on his temples was white as the snow.

The last of a Tic-Tac he held tight in his mouth,
As a Union General invading the South.

He had a broad face and a little round belly,
Hilaria had made him some apricot jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right angry old elf,
And in first-class they espied him on Twitter by stealth.

A glance from his eye and a twitch of his head,
Soon told them that he was a fatso to dread.

He spoke not a word but went straight to his work,
Twittered "Words With Friends," like Mephisto's clerk.

The first-class attendant asked him to quit,
But he squealed and Twittered away at a clip.

She asked him again yet still he typed on,
It seemed that he wanted to Twitter 'til dawn.

Shrieking and sputtering he said, "Go away!
I have people to see and places to play!"

Then laying his finger aside of his nose,
He gave an irate shout, and from his seat he rose.

He was thrown off the 'plane by the Captain's whistle,
And away he flew like the down of a thistle.

But they heard him exclaim 'ere he was chauffeured out of sight,

by nolapearl December 14, 2011 11:57 AM EST: Other passengers on the plane said that the flight attendent picked him out and that she overreacted and that the flight was already 30 minutes delayed. But they had every right to kick him off the plane. And anyone who took this SNL skit seriously needs to lighten up. It was hilarious - and looked to me like Alec Baldwin was making fun of himself.; Reply to this comment

I wonder if and when the next time Alec "Psychitzo" Baldwin loses it (again) and possibly hurts someone someday, if SNL will follow that up with another one of their bend-you-over, rib-cracking, hilarious, cry-your-eyes-out, keep-you-in-stiches, laugh-a-second, can't breath "comedy" skits?; Reply to this comment

yea ... spend a $100 million to build a commercial airliner ... but allow it's sensitive communication system to be susceptible to interference from a lowly cellphone ... of which there are now roughly 5 billion worldwide.

i think the skit was very funny ... and i hope alec makes a pile of money from the attention he's getting ... so he can donate that money to good causes as he has in the past.

by sugarvalleypa December 12, 2011 3:21 PM EST: Hey clever bobnjersey: Did you ever consider that airlines might prefer NOT to advertise the REAL reason to ban cell phones; which may be, oh for example, that it's easier to quickly detect a wireless capable device that can be used to set off a bomb if there aren't 100 other wireless devices bouncing signals in the same aluminum tube at 30,000. Turn off you cell phone and turn on your brain... if that's possible.

what about timers and altimeters ... or those newfangled 'accelerometers' all the handheld 'devices' have in them now to detect their orientation. can't i just as easily use one of those to blow you up ... with that bomb they were supposed to have screened from getting on the plane in the first place? they are screening everything ... aren't they?

is there any room behind the tree you're hiding behind. i promise if i curl up into a little ball like you are ... i won't take up much room.

are you part of the land of the 'free' ... or are you one of the 'brave' ones?

Since they were first recognized in 1997, the project of contaminating the planet's atmosphere with chemicals to make weather control possible, what has come to be known as "chemtrails", have presided over massive changes in the world's climate. The most powerful hurricane season on record in 1995; tornadoes occurring where they were unknown before, such as Brooklyn; unprecedented hundred degree heat waves from London to Siberia; the arrival of "super derechos", previously unknown hundred mile per hour straight line wind storms; the recalculating of wind chill effect downward, mirroring the fact that air now held much more heat than it used to; the disappearance of bees; the accelerated disappearance of glaciers; the development of the first new cloud species in a half century, the undulatus aspiratus.
One of the most serious results was air losing its ability to support aircraft. Initially, it took the form of spates of three weeks or so during which plane crashes were a daily or evey other day event, separated by spans of a few months. Over time, the spates got longer and the periods between them shorter. Now, it seems there are extended spans during which there are patches of denatured atmosphere everywhere around the planet. The airlines have had to adopt policies to avoid them. "Accidents", "malfunctions" and "incidents" on the tarmac, preventing planes from flying intoabnormal patches of atmosphere are at previously unseen levels. "Delays" and "cancellations" are at record levels. And "malfunctions", "accidents" and "incidents" in the air forcing "diversions" to other airports, are also at unprecedented levels. Never before had a plane returned to the gate because two men aboard were dressed in "imam garb". Never before had a plane returned to the gate because a young man on board was wearing baggy jeans below his waist. Never before had a plane returned to the gate because the pilot decided that a piece of equipment that she knew was damaged suddenly had to be repaired. Even if an airline has to have pilots "overshoot their destination" because they wer "preoccupied" in order to avoid the deviant patches of atmosphere, they will do it. The most recent spate of accidents started a few weeks ago, but the abnormal behavior by airlines seems to have been ongoing even before, so the abnoral air is apparently still everywhere.
This was apparently the purpose here, to make the plane wait until a patch of denatured atmosphere had passed. Note that Baldwin, although behaving like a characteristic "troublesome passenger", was not taken into custody. Part is because he's a star and, in the New World Order, they have rights the "rank and file" don't possess, but also because he did his duty. He can claim he stands for "the little guy", but he's a servant of the NWO. Note, too, that he was allowed on another jet almost immediately, even though he seemed determined to continue to play the game. For that matter, note his insistence on playing the game and that causing his outburst and ejection, even though, given his evident "love" for the game, he must have been playing it when other flights took off! The only purpose for this was the delay of the plane at the gate!
If this is allowed to continue, soon, only the military and the corporate rich and influential will be able to fly, in non-aerodynamic triangular and diamond shaped drones being reported seen.

THE BIG STAR IN FIRST CLASS! HOW DARE THEY! And to not see that he was WRONG and he should apologize shows that his judgement is god awful and he has'nt come very far from the pathetic dad who called his daughter a "pig"! American Airlines SHOULD ban his shows from flights- as well as ANYTHING to do with this blowhole!; Reply to this comment
