Lady Gaga's music video for "Marry the Night" said to be autobiographical

The Grammy nominee's video opens with her being rolled through a clinic and appears to be in the style of "Girl Interrupted," which is not the only film that the singer seems to take inspiration from. The music video also makes references "Black Swan," "Fame" and "All That Jazz."
Of course, the video wouldn't be Gaga's without pushing boundaries. Gaga is seen naked throughout the music video, though it was filmed strategically so the star isn't ever fully exposed.
The actual music doesn't start until about 8 minutes into the short film, as Gaga begins to sing the opening lines of "Marry the Night" acoustically.
Gaga tweeted to her fans last night urging them to watch her video and described it as, "An autobiographical film recounting my past, revealing my struggles + love for showbiz."
When the Mother Monster spoke with Vanity Fair about the video she said the bedroom scene was based off of "the worst day" of her life when she was dropped by her record label early in her career.
"It's chaotic and sad. But I don't want it to be safe. It has to be humiliating," Gaga said to Vanity Fair.
"Marry the Night" is Gaga's latest single from her Grammy-nominated album "Born This Way." The video aired exclusively on E! last night. Click here to check out the video for yourself.
