ABC has shut down production on its reboot of "Charlie's Angels," it was reported Friday.
According to Deadline, the network will air the remaining four episodes of the show in its current timeslot (Thursdays at 8 p.m.).
"Charlie's Angels," which starred Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor as the crime-fighting trio, debuted on Sept. 23 to poor reviews and meager ratings. Four episodes aired before ABC pulled the plug.
The short-lived series joins NBC's "The Playboy Club" and "Free Agents, CW's "H8R" and CBS' "How to be a Gentleman" (which shut down production last week) as this year's freshman TV causalities.

I want to comment about "2.5 Men". I could not do it elsewhere but here it is:
The ratings for this show have went considerately down since Charlie Sheen has been off the show. This reminds me of what happened to the Oakland A's in the 70's after hall of famers Reggie Jackson and Catfish Hunter went to play for other teams (Reggie for the Orioles and Yankees and Catfish also for the Yankees). The A's had these two on their team when they won 5 straight American League West Division titles from '71 to '75. After that and the departure of these two future hall of famers, the A's did not get in first place until the strike year of '81. They also did not get in first place in a nonstrike year until '88.
The people responsible for "2.5 Men" better do something quickly before it gets cancelled like this edition of "Charlie's Angels".
