Beyonce is pregnant: Star debuts baby bump at MTV Video Music Awards

(CBS) Beyonce walked the red carpet at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards with a very newsworthy accessory - a baby bump.

The singer, who posed for photos while holding her belly, confirmed that she's expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z.

"OMG Beyonce just made a huge announcement on the #vma carpet! #baby!!!!!" MTV tweeted.

The singer-actress, 29, and the rapper, 41, married in 2008. Since the pair tied the knot, she has often been the subject of pregnancy rumors.
