Charlotte Casiraghi: The Pippa Middleton of Monaco?

(CBS) Charlotte Casiraghi turned so many heads at the weekend wedding of her uncle, Prince Albert II of Monaco, that one royal watcher dubbed her "the Pippa Middleton of Monaco."

The 24-year-old royal is the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Italian industrial Stefano Casiraghi. Her father died in a speedboat accident when she was 4.

She has been featured numerous times on lists of beautiful royals, best-dressed women and most eligible bachelorettes.

She was born in Monaco, but has lived outside Paris since her mother remarried to Prince Ernst of Hanover

A published writer and an accomplished equestrian, Casiraghi has an older brother, a younger brother and a younger stepsister. She is fourth in line for the Monaco throne.

Pippa Middleton and Charlotte Casiraghi are two VERY different people and its an insult to Charlotte to be even compared to Pippa. Charlotte is refined, regal and hails from the 2nd oldest royal family in Europe. Pippa, on the other hand, hails from cole miners and party planners? Ummm.....do you see where I am going with this. To top it off as far as beauty goes - the Middleton sisters are pleasant looking but they are a far cry from the exotic beauty of the Casiraghi women. Charlotte is absolutely gorgeous - women everywhere want to look like her and raid her Chanel stuffed closet. The media write so loosely, but comparing Charlotte to Pippa is just over the line!

1. There is no Princess Charlotte casiraghi. Her mother is a princess, but she is not. She is just Charlotte Casiraghi.
2. She grew up in St. Remey-de-provence until she was 13, then she moved to Fontainebleau, France, outside of Paris, when her mother remarried in 1999.
3. Who is this younger stepsister you mention??? I'm sure Charlotte would love to meet her. She has a younger HALF sister, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, who is her mother and stepfather's daughter. She has two older stepbrothers, an older brother, a younger brother, and a younger half sister. Her younger half sister is also her goddaughter.
4. You might want to check the blogsphere before sending an article to print-Charlotte was NOT the "Pippa Middleton of Monaco"-THERE WASN'T ANY. Princess Charlene turned too many heads on her own.

i could not agree with you more, personally i find calling charlotte pippa middleton of monaco is just down right insulting.

1 no disrespect to Pippa, but her so called beauty is completey INVENTED by media HYPE. objectively speaking, she's average looking, in fact, some would argue with her overtan skin, slightly masculine features, she probably bordering on unattractive. Charlotte on the other hand, is a STUNNING looking young woman, she could rival the best of the supermodels. Not only, she seem to be lucky enough to inherit this kind of aristocratic refined beauty from her grandmother and mother. I dont know if you even those those two in the same sentence in terms of physical beauty.

2 charlotte, while not a princess, she was certianly brought up as one, and it reflects in the way carries herself. She always came across incredibly elegant and poised, which is quite a feat for a girl her age. Pippa Middleton, on the other hand, while no doubt came across like a charming vivacious girl, she is definitely not equal when compares with charlotte in this area AT ALL.

Further more, Pippa Middleton is flavour of the moment because her sister, but she still remain a average from a noveau riche family. Charlotte, on the other hand, IS the daughter of a princess and granddaughter of a ruling prince. Not to mention granddaughter to one of the most famous, beautiful, and elegant movie stars. So please, while i like Pippa Middleton myself, you need to stop using this type of condecending comparison. Charlotte is WAY OUT of Pippa league, so to speak.
