(Credit: Getty)(CBS) Emma Watson recently announced she is taking time off from her studies at Brown University to focus on her busy career - and that now includes being the new face of a major beauty brand.
The 20-year-old actress is the new face of Lancome, the company has announced.

"Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation," Lancome's president Youcef Nabi said in a statement on Monday. "We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancome."
Watson is the brand's youngest ambassador ever. She follows in the footsteps of stars like Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway, who have all starred in Lancome campaigns.
Earlier this month, Wastson said she still plans on finishing her college education, despite taking a break to finish work on "Harry Potter" and fulfilling her other professional commitments.
She wrote on her website, "I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought."
