The former "Melrose Place" star was the second celebrity to get the axe this season, after David Cassidy. Rinna and her team were tasked with writing and illustrating a children's book. Team ASAP, as they called themselves, fell to in-fighting almost from the beginning. Rinna claims Star Jones and Dionne Warwick pushed her to be project manager of the turbulent team, setting her up for failure.
Rinna and Jones have had a contentious relationship since the show began. Rinna's expletive-laced outburst about getting thrown under the bus was directed at Jones.
"Since the show wrapped, there's been no love lost between Star and Lisa," a source told Popeater.com. "Things got so ugly between them that NBC legal had to get involved."
What do you think? Was Lisa unable to handle the pressure? Or did Star Jones and co. sabatoge her Apprentice dreams?
