(CBS) After Sarah Palin called Kathy Griffin a "bully," the comedienne responded with a peace offering - but it's one that the former Alaska governor isn't likely to accept.

Griffin offered her "fellow reality star" tickets to her upcoming Broadway show, "Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony."

Responding to Palin's complaints about Griffin's jabs at her family, Griffin's publicist told ABCNews.com, "As a fellow reality star, Kathy would like to extend free tickets to her upcoming Broadway show to reality-star Sarah Palin and her reality-TV crew. Kathy supports all reality stars regardless of what they say about her."

The "My Life on the D-List" star declined to comment specifically on what Palin said about her.

Her Broadway show is set to run from March 11-19.

The most recent Palin-Griffin battle began over the weekend, when Palin called out Griffin during a Fox News interview over reports that she will play a Palin-like character on "Glee."

"You know, Kathy Griffin can do anything to me or say anything about me, because you know, she's kind of this; she's a 50-year-old adult bully is really what she is," she said. "She's kind of a has-been comedian and she can do those things to me. I would just ask for respect of my children. ... Kathy, pick on me, come up to Alaska and pick on me, but leave my kids alone."

Well I guess this means the Sarah will be giving TLC and FoxNews back the money she has made exploiting her family on their networks. When she trots her kids out for every photo op and puts them on a reality show, isn't she making them fair game for public satire? What is the fascination with Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan? It is their off camera antics, not their talent. No one but a star struck fan of Sarah's, gives a flip about her politics, it's her antics that the entertainment industry is hoping for and they all profit from.

Sarah, the horse is out of the barn. You should of thought about public life before you chose to trade privacy for cash.

You are wrong! There are many of us who DO care about her politics and agree with her! Many more of us than you think! Also no she's NOT making her kids fair game for public "satire"! She has as much right to have her kids with her in public with her as the Obamas have a right to have their girls with them! She also has a right to expect them to be respected and left alone!

JV you are a big fan of Sarah's so you must have watched her TV shows. No one is challenging her right to pack her family around from town to town or her right to subject them to scrutiny by the media. She choose the life she is in. No one made her put her kids on TV. The media didn't make up the life style she lives. The last time I checked, celebrities put themselves in the public domain.

You are up on your celebrity gossip, so you know that public figures and their families have been targets of the media and satire long before Sarah came along. When someone runs on a Purity platform they better have their own house in order. For Sarah, her family is just another episode to be exploited on FoxNews. She just doesn't want someone else exploiting them. We can understand that, when there is money to be made we don't want somebody jumping our claim.

In addition, Obama is the President, not a reality show character like "The Plains". Your media heros don't hesitate to criticize the Obama family at every opportunity.

The GOP criticized Ron Reagan's son for being a dancer and pot smoker
They where on Clinton's daughter because she was a little plain
They went after Carter's whole family for being to country for DC
They went after Bush's daughters for partying like dad
They were on Kennedy's kids for going to private schools
They attacked Omama's kids for having sleep overs
They reported that Cheney's daughter is gay
They told everyone that Mitt wears magic Mormon under pants
They went after Newt for having an affair with his intern while chastising Clinton for the same thing

JV, do you see a pattern here? Your Sarah crush is pretty deep. It is hard for you to see what we see when you are blinded by love.

Maybe Alex Trebek should invite her to be a guest on Celebrity Jeopardy. But he would have to promise that none of the questions would be about magazines, newspapers, geography, current events, finance, world leaders, math, science, ..... uh , better just forget it.

Sarah should have laid down the law about her kids long ago right after McCain announced her as his running mate. She sould have made it very plain to the media and everyone else then that her kids were strictly off limits. It might have saved them a lot of ridicule and pain.

However, she thought that the media and everyone else would show her family the same respect that they showed the families of the other candidates. SHE WAS WRONG!

Judging from what she told Griffin I don't think she'll make that mistake again. I think if she decides to run for the presidency she is going to lay down some ground rules concerning her children and she'll do it at the very beginning of her candidacy.

Sarah, this was just a ploy by Kathy Lee to get you to show what a thin skinned witless control freak with no sense of humor (or are the jokes too close to the truth?) you are.
Too bad you took the bait!

Sarah is like me. She doesn't have much respect for so-called "comedians" especially for those who's jokes aren't really jokes but insults! Kathy Griffin is just a loud, insulting, big mouthed female jerk!

Why is she always bringing her kids into every argument she has with an adult? I thought kids were supposed to hide behind the mom's skirts but Sarah has usual twist on this arrangement. She should just take the tickets, sell them on ebay and give the proceeds to "Bullies Anonymous." Or she could just send Bristol in her place; that would make it unproductive celebrity y unproductive celebrity.
