Phish announces summer concert tour dates

(CBS) If you've been wondering how you can listen to the same guitar solo all summer long, wonder no more! Phish announced its summer tour with a pretty bizarre video (scroll down to watch it).

In the video, a man trudges through a desert city. He haggles briefly with a shopkeeper over the price of a camel. They settle on a price and the man takes the camel into the desert, riding, riding, riding.

Finally, he makes his way up a hill and collapses in front of an oasis - or maybe it's a mirage - with the words "Phish Summer Tour 2011" appearing as clouds in the sky. (He uncovers his face and looks a lot like Phish drummer Jon Fishman.) He passes out.

Tickets are $60 for reserved seating and $45 for general admission at all venues.

TOUR DATES:

May 27 - 29: Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Bethel, N.Y.
May 31 - June 1: PNC Bank Arts Center, Homdel, N.J.
June 3: DTE Energy Center, Detroit, Mich.
June 4: Blossom Music Center, Cleveland, Ohio
June 5: Riverbend, Cincinnati, Ohio
June 7: Comcast Center, Mansfield, Mass.
June 8: Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Darien Center, N.Y.

David Riedel you're a musician???? Never heard of you and outside of this little blurb that CBS allows you to poorly write I probably never will again.

You don't have enough talent to be Trey's guitar tech let alone a Phish roadie, don't quit your day job!!

To everyone else that matters, see you out on tour!!!!!

David, in light of your risible drumming skills, you should probably consider changing your band's name from the Rhythm Kings to something that wouldn't make an audience think they are about to hear talented musicians. If you still want to keep the monarchy thing going, may I suggest the Rhythm Peons?
