While in-flight from Minneapolis to New York, the Grammy-winning rap superstar got his hands on the loudspeaker and rapped a few lines from his hits "Good Life" and "Gold Digger."
His quick rap was captured by one of the passengers and has since been posted on YouTube.
On Sunday, the 33-year-old also made a surprise performance at the MTV European Music Awards, performing with the rock band 30 Second to Mars.
"Literally a day and a half ago, he was in New York and he got on, literally, the last flight, he made it out here," frontman Jared Leto told MTV News.
His forthcoming album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy," is due Nov. 22.
