Courtney Mazza and Mario Lopez Welcome a Daughter

NEW YORK (CBS) It's a girl for actor/TV host Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza.

The couple welcomed daughter Gia Francesca Lopez on Saturday in Burbank, Calif., his show, Extra, reported.

Gia weighed 6 lbs., 4 oz., and mother and daughter are reportedly doing well.

"We are so overjoyed," Lopez told Extra. "What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world."

Lopez, 36, and Mazza, 28, met in 2008 when the two starred in the Broadway revival of "A Chorus Line."
