Alicia Keys Wedding: Pregnant Singer Marries Swizz Beatz

NEW YORK (CBS) A pregnant Alicia Keys tied the knot with Swizz Beatz in a ceremony on Saturday at a private home by the Mediterranean Sea.

The singer's rep confirmed the nuptials, which were conducted by the couple's friend, Dr. Deepak Chopra.

The bride wore an ivory silk, georgette-draped gown by Vera Wang and carried a bouquet of purple cala lillies, while the producer wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford, according to reports.

"Wowwwwwwwwww," Beatz wrote on his Twitter account Saturday.

He later posted, "It's a brand new day :) I feel like Nas and Diddy song :) love y'all and blessing!"

Keys, 29, and Beatz (whose real name is Kasseem Dean), 31, have been together since fall 2008, and are expecting their first child together. They announced their engagement and the baby news in May.

The child is the first for the couple. Beatz also has two other children, Kasseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9, from previous relationships.

I normally wouldn't waste my time adding a comment but I'm just hoping that maybe this will reach Ms. Alicia Keys. I have followed and supported her music since she came on the scene but I have lost so much respect for her. I know what it feels like to be a devoted wife and new mother and to have your family destroyed. I blamed my husband and the t*amp he cheated with but I thank God for revealing it to me so I could drop that loser who didn't deserve me in the first place! I'm not bitter, I'm better. If AK thinks that God blessed this union she must serve a different God. This is set up to fail, how could it succeed when the foundation is a lie and predicated by sin? OMG! There is only one creator and judge "God". Majority of the people who have made a comment on here need to focus on their own lives. If you were happy than you would be able to celebrate in what should a "Memorable Occasion" for any man & woman who God has brought together. God did not bring these two people together in an adulterous affair. Swizz was already joined in marriage to his wife Mashonda. Mashonda didn't have an affair. This homewrecker came along and helped breakup his marriage. First off Alicia don't have any respect for herself nor the sanctity of marriage. She didn't have any business getting involved with a married man. She's now considered the adulterous bride because she married a man that committed adultery. When you get married it's a serious commitment. Swizz is still considered Mashondas husband under the law of God. He and Alicia will have to answer for adultery in the end. Why they waste their time getting a certificate when it's a sin? Exodus 20:14 "Thou shalt not commit adultery" Mathew 19:9 Whoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and marry another, commits adultery.
