"The View:" Obama Not Invited to Chelsea Clinton's Wedding

(Credit: ABC)NEW YORK (CBS) President Obama confirmed Thursday that he was not going to Chelsea Clinton's wedding on Saturday.
"I am not going," he said during his appearance on "The View." "You don't want two presidents at a wedding."

The president added that he was not invited to the event, but understood why.
"I was not invited because I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this as a thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband," he said.
"One of the things that Michelle and I are so adamant about is making sure that Malia and Sasha have as normal a life as possible," he continued. "And I know Bill and Hillary, who are terrific parents, had that same attitude when it came to Chelsea."
Chelsea Clinton is marrying longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky in a lavish affair rumored to take place in Rhinebeck, N.Y.
