Jason Bateman Booed For Cutting in iPhone Line

NEW YORK (CBS) Jason Bateman angered 2,000 people on Thursday when he cut in line at a Los Angeles Apple store to get the latest version of the iPhone.

Us Weekly reports that a line was wrapped around the store, where people were waiting to purchase the newly-released iPhone 4,  when the 41-year-old actor arrived. After waiting for a short time, he was pulled from the line and escorted right inside.

"Everyone literally started booing and hissing!" a source told the magazine

Another witness added, "The crowd freaked and booed, and he put his head down."

The entertainment community of which Apple, Jason Bateman, Hollywood, pro sports are all part of, consider the average public as sheep to be played, manipulated and separated from their hard earned money so they can accumulate extremes of wealth.

These people are experts at the art of manipulating public opinon for their own benefit. If you allow yourself to have funds extracted and time wasted because they have wrapped you around their finger, and then blame yourself.

1. Jason Bateman is an EXCELLENT actor.

2. Jason was escorted in. Meaning the personnel at apple gave him the preferential treatment. If you don't like it, take it up with Apple.

3. I agree with many here anyways, why would anyone stand in line for a crappy phone???

If this was 20 years ago, I wouldn't think much of it. But in the day of cell phones, Youtube, and internet something like this can go around the world in seconds. I don't think it looks good on the acting career when you do something like this...I'm sure Jason is a great guy...not a smart move.
