The court on Thursday presented the list of more than 950 guests expected at Saturday's wedding to be held in Stockholm Cathedral.

Other dignitaries on the list include Belgium's King Albert II, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands and royal families and presidents from neighboring Nordic countries. Britain's Earl and Countess of Wessex are also attending, but not Prince Charles.

Victoria is first in line to the throne. Her father is King Carl XVI Gustaf.

The wedding is expected to be largest gathering of royals since the 1981 wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. It will be televised live in Sweden and more than 500 million are expected to see it.

If anything royalty has migrated to a token perfunctory tourist trade office that tourist and locals alike are no longer particularly enthralled with. Perhaps, reality stars and celebrities with more media clout have become the new royalty?

Silly? Not to them, apparently in their countries governances or charters it is allowed, and apparently well accepted by the citizenry. Sounds like a good gig, how do you apply for one of those 'jobs'. Do they actually do anything? I'd love to see a job description.

She is arriving in Stockholm for the wedding. She dressed comfortably for travel. The wedding is Saturday. I'm sure she will be wearing a very nice dress to the wedding.

Love a woman in jeans, it shows she considers herself one of the 'small' people they refer to overseas.
