Michaele Salahi to Join "Real Housewives of D.C."
President Barack Obama, left, greets Michaele and Tareq Salahi at a State Dinner for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the White House in Washington on Nov. 24, 2009.
/ APSalahi, who attended last year's White House state dinner with husband Tareq Salahi (allegedly without an invitation), has secured a spot on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of D.C."

"We wanted to dive into the Beltway subculture as it underwent an historic shift, one that previously has not been readily accessible or portrayed, and look at the political hierarchy and definitive social circles that make up D.C.'s unique society," Bravo exec Andy Cohen said, according to People magazine. "We knew this was going to expose a different social narrative from any of our other "Housewives" series -- provocative and engaging in a whole new way."
On Bravo's website, Salahi is described as "a big part of the inner workings of the D.C. life" and "heavily involved in charity work."
The Salahis garnered national attention when they allegedly "crashed" President Barack Obama's state dinner at the White House honoring the prime minister of India, where the couple was photographed with Vice President Joe Biden and other top politicians (The Salahis have claimed they were invited to the event). A Bravo camera crew reportedly followed the couple earlier that night.
According to the press release, the show began filming shortly after the 2008 election and Mr. Obama's inauguration.
The other "Real Housewives" joining Salahi include Mary Schmidt Amons (the granddaughter of TV personality Arthur Godfrey); Lynda Erkiletian (the founder of a Washington modeling agency); Catherine Ommanney (a British import who's an interior designer); and Stacie Scott Turner (a real estate agent who started a charity for teenaged girls in foster care).
"The Real Housewives of D.C." will debut on Aug. 5 at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.

It's beginning to look like all that they want to put on TV is a freak show.
This is obvious because when it comes time to sit down for the dinner (in the assigned seats), they always manage to have some excuse to depart the event. They tried the same trick at the Congressional Black Caucus dinner a few weeks before the White House State dinner, but they were caught red handed that time.
Further indicating that the Salahis are liars is the fact that they tried to drive a limo into Obama's Inauguration using a fake pass that Tareq printed out on his home computer reading, "Official Inauguration Vehihcle" (he misspelled the word "vehicle"). The Secret Service now has possession of that fake pass.
I think that a lien should be put on any money that they get from Bravo and used to pay off the multitude of people that they have been stiffing over the years, like their wedding caterer and the hair stylist that did Michaele's hair the night of the White House State dinner.

This picture was taken by Greg Woodell who was a limo driver for the Salahis (that's his mother in the picture). He finally got fed up with them and quit, reporting them to the Secret Service long before the White House State Dinner crashing incident. The Salahis still owe Woodell $2,480.
I don't see how you could prove that the Salahis are liars any more conclusively.
