NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Chelsea Clinton gave her father strict orders to drop 15 pounds before her summer wedding - and former President Bill Clinton says he's nearly met that goal.

A noticeably thinner Mr. Clinton was at the White House Thursday and said he has just two pounds to go.

Daughter Clinton is set to wed longtime beau Marc Mezvinksy sometime this summer.

Mezivnksy, 31, is son of former Iowa congressman Ed Mezvinsky and former Pennsylvania congresswoman Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinksy.

The two are both Standord alumnus and announced their engagement last November.

Details of the wedding have been kept under wraps, but the former president did let it slip that he has "more than a month" to achieve his goal while at the White House on Thursday.

Mr. Clinton joined President Barack Obama for a meeting with the U.S. World Cup Soccer Team.  He was recently named honorary chairman of the bid committee that's trying to bring the soccer tournament to the U.S.

I'm glad to see that Bill Clinton has been losing the weight he promised to lose.

However, with only 2 pounds left, he can do that just by taking a good dump.

So, in essence, he's met his goal.

Weight is not the only thing he lost, credibility, respect, integrity and sanity were lost long ago. In general, a loser, along with his wife.

My, you haters just can't stand the fact that he presided over the longest peacetime expansion of the US economy ever, not only balanced the budget but put it in surplus, created over 22 million new jobs, tripled the stock market, set new records for lowest crime and highest homeownership, successfully stopped a genocide and *still* commands more international respect than any living president. Yes, I know that's a run-on sentence, but summing up Clinton's accomplishments in one breath isn't easy. I could go on. And he did all that while still having enough mojo to go for a little slice on the side. I don't approve of that, but let's face it at least she was female and a legal adult, unlike the underage boys conservatives seem to go for lately.
