White House asks Supreme Court to overturn same-sex marriage ban
WASHINGTON The Obama administration is asking the Supreme Court to declare unconstitutional a section of federal law that only recognizes male-female marriages.
In a filing with the court, the administration says Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act denies legally married same-sex couples many federal benefits that are available only to legally married heterosexual couples. Federal tax and Social Security survivor's benefits are among them.
In its brief, the administration said the provision "violates the fundamental constitutional guarantee of equal protection."
The brief was filed as the justices prepare to hear arguments next month in a challenge to the 1996 law.

President Barack Obama last year said he personally supports gay marriage. He said in last month's inaugural address that the law should treat gay people like anyone else.

I don't know who said that first but it sounds good and real. We are all actors on the stage of life. We only pretend to be what we want to be. Homosexual deviants want to pretend to be normal like the heterosexuals and that includes the sanctity of marriage. The problem with that is behind the mirrors of life is a real world that is morality driven by God, gods, who also take precedent on the stage. Rites and rituals handed down over centuries by leaders, saints, and sage are intended to exemplify the quality of life is now endangered by the comic, inane, mockery of our show by the homosexuals "who" rights by law or not have endangered the stability of reason, faux, feeble, and imitation like life itself now shakes and trembles. We are also all children at heart and combined with the fraud of intelligence, that is nobody here really knows it all, like I said they just pretend because it makes some people feel secure, and now the security is jeopardized by self centered egotistic liberals who want the lead part in the play. So I conjure as do all people a thought a word and it is shame", shame on you liberals of the left for your gay marriage. You have defiled everything good and special in life even if it was just play acting by grown up children, you stole their marbles, and like all bullies made the good kids cry. A plague on your gay marriage!
Some of us know the gays that are being used as example of the "best of gay life" are in reality just con artists, and the tragedy is they are deluded by role obsession, struck a mundane character that won't go away, like an addiction wanting the illusion of gold they crave and covet that which the lead part offers the dream of riding off in the sunset, a hero with lover in hand. It will never be your part because the wake up call is coming, the dream of a lifetime is an empty cup. Death in spirit form is silently and subtly weaving his part into a story gone awry by the only thing that can shatter dreams. Real plagues, wars, overpopulation, pollution, mass insanity created by liberals with an agenda, and all the forces of evil and follows them mass death as prophesized thousands or years ago. It was the canto civilization mathematics that clinched it all a finite planet with an never ending population growth, well almost.
Rejoice only in the aspiration of life without end! Those with faith are exempt and know the fraud of gay rights is in knowing God. The Captain of the Ship, the one who wrote the story first, his is the lead of it all. They will steal from the bowl of life but they will never drink from the Holy Grail. Liberals will pretend and act like they know what is right but their cabaret is strictly limited, a one night performance, guaranteed to be a flop as predicted by ancient written review aka the Holy Bible. Believe in the Astronaut God, Jehovah Elohim(Father of Jesus Christ) he didn't create the infinite universe but he did invent a way to live forever.
Finally, the ENTIRE UNITED STATES is within a month or two from having Gay Marriage across this nation! DOMA and all 33 bans will fall in one day.

Two lovers of the same sex do not usually procreate and need no special support to insure they are supported. Families are in existence as the central structure by which humans existed for millenia and no such animal even in the soviet union existed but now its suddenly a right that sine qua non for the existence of society
This is unbelievably fallacious. Where this notion came from I don't know but it has no basis in reason. Maybe it exists because of the fact that gays are loking for the same handouts as hetero's. Maybe it comes from the idea that this will create them with respect from society. It would appear that in secular society this exists and among people who believe their is a God they will show respect to all human kind, but have the absolute right to find it morally objectionable.
I met a gay man who had a partner who contracted with a woman to be a surrogate and were going to adopt the child. Why? There are many children in this society who need parents who do not have them yet this homosexual couple thought they needed to raise a child from birth. I will again ask why. We have fallen from natural experience into artificial contructs such as this.
This represents the slow and steady demise of our culture which will be one of the signs of the destruction of America when future historians examine the reason for the destruction of our culture. Its another example of the extreme selfishness our culture has fallen into
