Stark Obama ad spotlights "47 percent" comments

The Obama campaign is out with a stark new ad in which Mitt Romney's "47 percent" fundraiser comments are juxtaposed against images of average Americans.

The Obama campaign did not announce the 30-second spot, "My Job," to the press, but a campaign spokesman said it will air in New Hampshire, Virginia, Florida, Ohio, Iowa, Nevada and Colorado. Check it out at left.

That would be a totally dishonest ad, taking Romney statements totally out of context.

That is what Obama does, however. he simply lies, and lies often, repeating the lie, to brain wash people into believing the lie.

That's what he did to Bush.....never mentioning the FACTS, that the Clinton administration passed the banking deregulation that prompted the banking melt downs, AND Clinton passed the affordable housing act, to make it easier for people to qualify for home loans that normally would NOT have been able to qualify.

That resulted in the housing bubble, and combined with the banking melt dons, created the 2nd great depression.

That was CLINTON.....and NOT Bush. Obama has been a liar from day one.

What?! Are you joking? They're by no means out of context--here, watch the original!

Good job buying into the lie about the economic collapse though,

God forbid people actually find out what really happened: banks made loans that they knew wouldn't be repaid, but would then package them up, falsely rate them as an 'AAA' security, and sell them off to unsuspecting investors for the amount of the loan(so they made their money back) and a percentage of the expected interest. The banks made a fortune, and investors were stuck holding the bag.

Even more fun: banks like Bank of America sold these junk loan packages off to the investment branches of their own company--so they took your pensions, 401(k), and mutual funds to buy the packages, knowing that they were toxic--but that's okay, because the bankers themselves made the profits, and you got to cover their loss.

Why was this legal? Glad you asked! The 'Gramm-Leach-Bliley' act of 1999 repealed the provisions that had been in place for nearly 70 years, which required banks to keep their investment areas separate from their lending and banking divisions. Note that all three of those names are Republicans. The bill was passed with a supermajority, so it was veto-proof.

The truth is out there. Turn off your Fox News and look into it yourself.

First, Obama was appointed by blind committee to run the Harvard Law Review. Second, Romney "saved" the Winter Olympics by using government monies. Third, Obama did pull us from the brink of a another Depression. Next....crap were you even around during the 8 years of the Iraqi war? Did you not heard Connie Rice and Cheney speak about how messy democracy is and yet how America needs to support these new Middle Eastern democracies?

I am 74 and depend heavily on social security and medicare (I paid for them all of my life). I also know seniors that depend on food stamps and also good folks out of jobs who need and use them. Milt was talking about these folks including me. BTW, the entire tape is on Mother Jones and nothing was edited. Milt's convictions are more than enough to have me and thousands like me to vote for Obama.

Another case of blind following. The release of the video by Mother Johnson revealed only a part of the entire conversation with a promise to release the entire clip. It did not until Obama had a chance to make hay with the shortened, selected version. The one you guys believe like it was the real thing. Look it up, listen to the entire thing and then come back here and say it was the "truth" and right out of Romney's mouth. Don't you get tired of being mislead, lied to, duped and used? Probably not. Like the lady who raved about the free cell phone you probably think Obama did that. No, the fifty percent who pay taxes did it, and especially that upper 1 percent liberals seem to want to destroy with more taxes so he can give you unlimited calling instead of just 250 minutes. When the man who makes the money decides to take his wealth elsewhere or just gets tired of being taken for a ride like he was someones work horse, then it all dries up. Then what? In the words of a movie "Who ya gonna call?" You can only get so much blood from the real "working class;" the tax payer working class. Then all the freebees blow away in the wind and once more you all hit the streets crying "we've been robbed." Liberals are like a man trying to burn a candle from both ends. Eventually the you have nothing left but smoke!

So what are ya gonna do about that debt? Who gets to pay it? The 47 percent certainly won't want to, and can't unless they get jobs right along with the rest of us. So whose policies are going to get them to work and broaden the tax base? Obama's? Hardly. He's to busy everyone cell phones with one hand and raising their insurance premiums by 3000.00 a year with the other. Hardly a good trade off for my family. The trouble is liberals want everyone else to pay the bill. I mean look at the difference between charitable contributions paid by Obama and those paid by Romney BEFORE they were elected. Obama is great, like every liberal, at spending someone else's hard earned cash! Maybe that's why you like him so much but eventually what goes around comes back to knock at your own door. Don't think for a minute that the debt crisis won't take you down right along with every conservative, or moderate independent like myself. If you believe that some how this plague will skip you because of you undying allegiance to the liberal agenda, boy, have you got a shock coming.

Let me throw a couple monkey wrenchs into your beutifully composed scenario in the form of two unescapable facts.

55% of all federal income taxes are paid by taxpayers claiming less than $200,000. (2009 IRS)

When a taxpayer's AGI reaches $5,000,000, their tax rate actually decreases.

#3. Eliminate taxes for taxpayers with AGI below $200,000 on interest, dividends, and capital gains

Holy Cow, in the off chance that Romney is actually elected, if a former taxpayer who gets 100% of their income from annuities, claims less than $200,000 AGI, Romney will be forcing them to become government dependents with no sense of personal responsibility. They will probably forced to vote for Obama in 2016, 'cause there is no chance that they will ever vote for Romney.

Why do you have a problem with success? When you see how much ROmney pays and find out it is 8 percent high than most of the rest of us pay why do you complain? And when he gives four million to charities to help the poor, and only claims about half it on is income tax, why do you fault him? Does another persons success really gall you that much?
The fact that Romney made millions and saved tens of thousands of jobs seems seems to really fester on the liberal soul. Why don't you look at some of your liberal politicians who make MILLIONS off of your hard earned taxes, have a better health program than you or I ever dreamed off, and still don't pay 1 percent of their income to help the poor? Nancy Pelosi has used per position to make money; Harry Reid as well, and both hoard it like someone is about to steal it. But man are they ready to spend YOUR money!

It would seem to me that someone who knows how to be successful through hard work and determination would serve us all well. Far better than Obama has that is sure. How much has he really DONE for middle America? What about all those promises never kept? And now he says he just needs more time. Time for what? ANd don't give me that old story about how bad it was when he got it! He knew what it was coming in and he did nothing, zilch, to fix it. Now he makes more promises. And you guys actually believe it. "Fool me twice" should be your motto.

Obama would rather exploit the spin of Romney's clumsy "47%" remarks for votes than accept responsibility for real underlying issues of record government entitlement, record government dependency, and a growing number who pay no income taxes.

Romney said what he feltm, no way to spin it. As far as a record some of those people that are government depended are a result of Romney and Bain capital. He talked about how they acquire an appliance company sent it to China where the worker work for less than 2.00 a day. He made millions.

Romney made his money as a businessman. He graduated from Harvard at the top of his class. He saved the Winter Olympics for the USA when it was deeply in debt and went on to make a profit for the Olympics.

Obama knows nothing about economics as it shows by the current state of finances of our country. He has raised the deficit by over $6 TRILLIOn in 3-1/2 Years!!!!! Give him another 4 yrs. and it will be at 40 TRILLION $'s at the end of this 4 yr. term as it is not over $16 TRILLION. I wonder what your great grandchildren will be saying about the Obama voters as they are strapped with this debt.

Obama praised the Arab Spring as democracy in the Middle East. Now there is rioting all over the Middle East, killings of our Embassy people. Some democracy. He has thrown the nation of Israel under the bus and the American Jews keep voting for him. Guess they forgot what happened in the '30s and '40s, huh? Obama is a socialist and is not a Christian. His heart belongs to Islam .. read his books. He's very vain, egoistical and arrogant, all of which our nation's leader should not be.

The PM of Israel is a great man, a great leader. Too bad he was not born in the USA. Our country needs someone like him. p.s. I'm not a Jew.
