First lady visits Aurora, Colo., shooting victims

(AP) AURORA, Colo. - First lady Michelle Obama has met with some of the victims wounded during last months' massacre at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater and the medical staff that treated them.

Obama arrived at the Medical Center of Aurora at about 3:30 pm Saturday. She thanked doctors, nurses and staff who attended some of the 58 people wounded in last month's attack during a showing of the latest Batman movie. She also met with some of the shooting victims and their families, including one patient who remains in the hospital's intensive care unit. Twelve people died in the attack.

Obama spent more than an hour at the hospital before leaving for Denver, where she is to appear at a fundraiser for her husband's re-election campaign.

Michelle, as graceful as ever. The fact is that she took time to stop by just to say hi to those victims. That is a decent thing to do. This is in character with how she have carried herself as first lady the last four years. So, for those haters who always see the worse in the Obama's, even if God was standing in front of her, they will accuse her of trying to inductrinate God to be communist.
Michelle, keep doing what you are doing. We are praying for you and your husband.
How can anyone take these republican clawns seriously? These are the same people who have been screeming their heads off the last four years that Obama was a muslim, communist, not American, Inspite of being a top student in the most prestigious institution of higher learning, did not actually get good grades. A lunatic could not actually make these stuff up. That is how dip the republicans have gone into the crazy land. Don't get me started about the anti-christ, Killing Grandma, or Government motor stuff. We are talking about a United States president being so disrespected by people who have notting but hate in their heart. What a nice thing it will be just to see the faces of these bigut, come November 6th when they realize that ohoh, Obama just won. These haters come to the realization that they just have to put up with another four years of this great president, and their is notting they can do about it. Very astute and correct comment, Ben. Thank you. Not only is Michelle Obama a compassionate, highly-intelligent, graceful, beautiful-inside- and out-woman, her First Lady project took a lot of guts. Her Let's Move project is spot on and much needed. When I saw the clip of her talking sympathetically with the hospital staff and patients, I tried to picture Ann Romney doing that - I just could not.
