New "Despicable Me 2" trailer: Gru's back!

"Despicable Me 2." / Universal Pictures
Universal Pictures released a new trailer on Tuesday for Illumination Entertainment's "Despicable Me 2," coming to theaters on July 3. Directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, the sequel stars Steve Carell who returns as Gru, his hilarious little minions and a whole other host of fabulous, famous voices such as Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Al Pacino, Steve Coogan and Ken Jeong.
The first "Despicable" installment made more than $540M worldwide in 2010 , which is probably why in addition to this sequel, there's also a prequel in the works. Hey, don't fix it if it ain't broke. The prequel, titled "Minions" (which means it's going to be all about the minions, lots and lots of minions -- yay!), is set to come out in December 2014, and will apparently star Sandra Bullock as the bad guy.
Check out the trailer below and tell us just how despicably delicious you think part 2 will be.
