Paris Jackson gets NFL cheerleading offer

Paris Jackson is only in high school, but the 14-year-old has just gotten a job offer -- to be a cheerleader for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles.

Eagles cheer director Barbara Zaun told TMZ she's seen footage of Jackson cheering on her school's squad and was impressed.

"We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader!" Zaun told the website.

"We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence, and enthusiasm in her cheer performance," she continued, adding, "Paris has that 'wow factor' that makes a great cheerleader."

But if Jackson wants to cheer for the Eagles, she'll have to wait a few years -- in order to be an NFL cheerleader, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma, according to TMZ.

Her older brother, Prince Michael Jackson, made headlines last month when he appeared as a corespondent for "Entertainment Tonight." He's also set to make his acting debut on the series finale of the CW series "90210."

I wonder whether any of Paris Jackson's guardians showed up for the game?

It is obvious she got the offer because she is MJ's daughter. It is sad that she can never be liked for who she is. She is not Paris Jackson she is simply Paris, the daughter of Michael Jackson. I don't believe those kids like her because of her. It would be nice if someday she can meet someone who will like her just for herself. The court of public opinion can put her up one day and squash her the next. Michael Jackson found that out. She can be glorified one day and trashed the next. People have a love hate relationship with celebrities. And when this thing goes to trial with AEG and all that stuff comes out from Michael Jackson's 2005 trial, she will quickly see how the media can trash you. Although Michael was found not guilty he was still charged at least twice with sexual molestation. When the details come out as they never have before, she will see why Michael kept them out of the public eye.

I think Michael Jackson would have made an excellent NFL cheerleader as well.

I'm SURE that if she was the daughter of a coal miner, ad executive, nurse, auto mechanic, bank teller, maintenance worker, cable installer, etc., etc.... she would have gotten this offer as well. NOT.

Really? She's THAT good? She's so much better than any OTHER 14 year old cheerleader? I doubt it.

Geez. This is about 1 step up from Larry Flynt saying he sees potential in her as an "adult actress" and that she has a job with him when she turns 18.

Once again we see how children of privilege get whatever they want.

It doesn't say she wanted to become an eagles cheerleader so to say"once again we see how children of privilege get whatever they want." is inaccurate
