2012 White House Correspondents Dinner

Late-night talk show funnyman Conan O'Brien is expected to host the upcoming annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, an event where the fourth estate and Washington's elite get roasted for the night.

The White House Correspondents' Association president and Fox News correspondent Ed Henry announced O'Brien as the host via Twitter:

The 49-year-old "Conan" host will have his shot to skewer some of the most well-known names from the worlds of journalism and politics, including President Obama.

O'Brien had previously hosted the comedic dinner back in 1995, according to Deadline.

The White House Correspondents' Association dinner is scheduled for April 27.
