The 26th season of "Survivor" is about to debut with some new and familiar faces.

"Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites" will see 10 fans of the show compete against 10 former contestants from past seasons. The fans will belong to the Gota Tribe while the returning favorites will make up the Bikal Tribe.

Emmy Award-winning host and executive producer Jeff Probst once again returns for this latest installment of the reality competition series.

"This season, we wanted to start the show a little differently," Probst said in a preview video for the season, "By reminding the fans that they're not yet favorites."

The favorites were given the luxury of arriving to the island via air-conditioned helicopter. The fans meanwhile were sent to the island on small wooden boats.

"And it set the tone," Probst explained.

See what happened after the contestants arrived to the island when "Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites" premieres Wednesday night at 8 pm ET on CBS.
