Royal officials in Britain have expressed disappointment that paparazzi shots of Prince William and his wife on a beach holiday in the Caribbean may be published by an Italian magazine.

The photos reportedly show the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge -- the former Kate Middleton -- wearing a bikini and strolling on a beach with William on the island of Mustique.

St. James's Palace said Tuesday that publishing the photos would be a "clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."

According to the BBC, the spokesman added: "We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas."

The Italian gossip magazine Chi was reportedly planning to publish the pictures.

Last year, William, 30, and Kate, 31, went to court over a French gossip magazine's publication of topless photos of the duchess while the couple was on holiday in the south of France.

If "the church" didn't continually preach that sexuality is evil then nobody would care. In typical fashion the only people who really care about sex and nudity are the ones who are both most against sex and most obsessed by sex.

Sad...but being the wife of Lady Diana's son, she must have known that this kind of sordid thing was going to occur as often as the paparazzi could manage it...

I would wager that an enterprising paparazzi could retire nicely on the proceeds of a shot revealing The Duchess of Cambridge...not naked...but picking her nose

And even then the camera would love her

Their life is one huge Holiday. Day after day, month after month. There is zero realization of a life any different. Fine, they open themselves up for scrutiny.

What a pity, that they can't ever have private time. Guess they plan to hound them, moreso her, just like they did Diana! If it's bad now, wait until the baby comes!! They do make a cute couple. She is a very beautiful young woman, who I hope can stand up to the pressure of being in a glass bubble! She's make a fabulous Queen, and he king.

They were on a "beach holiday" in other words a "vacation". So, I ask, a vacation from what ? These royals just sit on their ass all day, never do a day of work, but, I'm jealous , I wish I was a royal too, so I could go on these "holidays".
