Details of Amin's arrest and the charge weren't immediately available. She is being held at the Central Regional Jail on $200,000 bond.

Jail Administrative Sgt. Rick Drake says Amin doesn't want to talk to the media. He didn't know whether she had a lawyer.

According to TMZ, authorities said Amin was hiding in a shed when police arrived. Amin was said to have a "quantity of Oxycodone" in her purse, according to the site.

MTV announced last week that the show will be picked up for a second season, as it has been doing well in the ratings department. MTV spokeswoman Candice Ashton says the network doesn't have any comment at this time on Amin's arrest.

They should give a raise to whoever it is that works at MTV who tipped off the police. The media coverage will only boost ratings. Maybe they can have a spin-off: Buckwild Lockup. They can take America's garbage culture to new depths as we revel in the conflict and human misery it portrays.

What's new here! Anyone who lives in the rural south, like rural central FL, watches this sort of shenanigans by young (and older) adults routinely. This show is closer to reality that anyone realizes!

Drug charges? This is terrible! It's going to cast a pall on the whole show. How are parents going to explain this to their children who look up to the cast of Buckwild as role models? Can we get some grief counselors from the network to come in and talk with them?

Role models? Have you ever watched this show? As much as I enjoy watching it and I do get some good laughs, but role models are something these kids shouldn't be. I hope she learns her lesson, and I really hope this will be the last bad thing that happens to any of these kids.
