Country music legend Johnny Cash will be getting a special recognition -- courtesy of the United States Postal Service.
"The Man in Black" will appear on a postage stamp that is scheduled to be released sometime this year, the Postal Service recently announced. The stamp, which is part of the new Music Icons series, features a black-and-white photograph of Cash by Frank Bez from 1963.
A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cash, who died in 2003, is best known for songs such as "I Walk the Line," "Ring of Fire," "A Boy Named Sue" and "Tennessee Flat Top." He and his wife, singer June Carter Cash, were depicted in the 2005 movie "Walk the Line."
