Rupert Sanders' wife files for divorce following Kristen Stewart affair

Rupert Sanders' wife has filed for divorce five months after it was revealed the director had a brief affair with actress Kristen Stewart.
Liberty Ross, Sanders' wife of more than nine years, filed for divorce Friday in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences for the couple's breakup. They have two children, an 8-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son.

The model-actress is seeking joint custody of the children and spousal support from her estranged husband, who directed Stewart in "Snow White and the Huntsman."
TMZ, which first reported the filing, stated that Sanders also filed divorce paperwork but it was not available on Monday. According to the site, the couple had tried to work things out in therapy over the past several months.
Stewart, who has been dating "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson, apologized for her fling with Sanders in July after Us Weekly published a series of photos featuring Sanders and Stewart getting cozy in Los Angeles. Not too long after the news hit, Stewart and Pattinson were spotted out together.

- Well, Stewart is young, tight and hot. His wife, pretty yes, but after having a couple of kids, well under the sheets she may not be as hot or he just wanted to try something new.

- Really I do not see this as being the first time Rupert Sanders has been romping around in the back seat of another female's mini-cooper. The man is a wanna be somebody who took advantage of a young girl and her fame. He and his soon to be ex are publicity hounds. They both are looking for a way to make a fast buck. I feel sorry for their kids. Move on get divorced and take care of your kids.
