In its first week of release, rapper A$AP Rocky's debut, "Long.Live.A$AP," has landed at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart.

According to Billboard, which cites SoundScan numbers, more than 139,000 copies of the rapper's album were sold this week.

The No. 2 spot on the albums chart went to "Kidz Bop 23," which features child-friendly covers of current pop hits, with 78,000 copies sold. The film may have come out in Oct., but the "Pitch Perfect" soundtrack is still going strong on Billboard, landing at No. 3. Taylor Swift's "Red" and Bruno Mars' "Unorthodox Jukebox" round out the list in the No. 4 and No. 5 spots respectively.

Besides topping this week's album chart, A$AP Rocky has been enjoying success with his latest single, which features vocals from Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar. Born and raised in the Harlem area of New York, A$SAP Rocky started gaining traction in 2010 with a series of mixtape releases.
