Rapper Freddy E tweets moments before apparent suicide

The hip hop community is in mourning, following the death of rapper Freddy E this weekend. The 22-year-old rising star was found dead inside his Seattle-area apartment. Kings County medical examiners have said the rapper died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Born Frederick Eugene Buhl, Freddy E had been signed as a recording artist to rapper Tyga's music label. The young performer also had a popular YouTube channel called Jerk TV. Fans have speculated that the suicide was over Freddy E's recent break-up with fellow rapper, Honey Cocaine, although this has yet to be confirmed.

The  suicide was perhaps all the more shocking given that Freddy E apparently live tweeted in the moments just before death. His final post read, "I'm sorry."

The news of Freddy E comes just two weeks after another young rapper, Capital STEEZ, is said to also have committed suicide just after sending farewell messages on Twitter.

Are people really worth killing one's self over, especially in this day and age?

He was a bright person who loved to make people laugh and i find it hard that he killed himself JUST over a girl if you watched him he was already going through some things when every thing went down. Depression is a killer and a lot of times you can feel like your alone and something can just push you over the edge. Do not judge because he loved to rap. Listen deeper to his story and you will understand he was a smile with a broken heart.
R.I.P Freddy your family and friend are in my prayers.

It's always tragic when someone takes their own life no matter what the circumstances, but why in heaven's name would anyone commit suicide because someone broke up with them? No one should ever become that relationship dependent.

They aren't. In most of these cases, the breakup merely compounds an already existing mental/emotional disorder. It's kind of a "straw that broke the camel's back" kind of thing.

A needy person can drive away those who care about them. If they lose the person they have become emotionally dependent on because they became too emotionally dependently on them, then they could kill themselves from having to cope and do things for themselves.

No more so than the rest of us inner city dwellers. Still, you're right. It's a shame to see anyone go out like that.

Ok...Well I hate rap/hip hop music as well but for people to say "one less rapper" is very inhumane. This is a human being and you're glad he's dead because of his music genre??? Smh...obviously it's more than just his music. You people are just full of disdain and hate for no reason.

No he's not glad he's dead because of his music genre. He's glad he's dead because of what he said. Did you read it? Don't get me wrong, GUYCMCD is a disgusting pig, but he said what he said and you're distorting it. Unnecessary. People will read his words and come to the obvious deduction that he's a jerk without your "help".

Hardly.

The name gathers attention, which is essential for ratings and income. Making money. Advertising. These are the core tenets of a larger issue...

...So why do you hate capitalism?

It appears to me that all rappers crotches itch.....what does talking and grabbing your crotch have to do with talent?
Imho, nothing.
