Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair Warner on the 1980s TV series "Facts of Life," is in the running for the $1 million top prize in "Survivor: Philippines."

She goes up in the two-hour finale Sunday on CBS against two-time player Michael Skupin, who was evacuated because of injury from his first season, Iowa sex therapist Denise Stapley and California bartender Malcolm Freberg.

So far, she appears to have made it through the game without drawing attention to her past career as an actress; only Skupin and another ousted castaway, Jonathan Penner, guessed her secret.

It will be interesting to see at the one-hour reunion show that follows the finale what the other players say when the learn that the middle-aged woman they dubbed the church lady is really a famous former child actress.

awww! Survivor phillipines it never ceases to amaze me at how bitter some of the Losers, get. Their bitter ???? why because someone did to them what they were going to do to someone else??? Malcolm was my favorite until the end when he was on the jury and was bitter because his plan to shaft denise didnt work out... and he gave her crap knowing he shook with skoopin and lisa to cut her(denise) and down the road when it was he that got cut he gives her all this high and mighty crap about no dont nod like he was a saint i was rooting for him and was bummed he got cut until that point. it was just like penner being bitter over being cut yet he can only be bitter with himself lisa gave him the chance and he turned it down.. ha- ha i cant imagine the frustration but suck it up dont crap on someone else.
