Celebrities from Jennifer Lopez to Eva Longoria have taken to Twitter to express their grief over the loss of Mexican-American superstar, singer Jenni Rivera, who was killed in a plane crash in northern Mexico.

The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed that the singer died in the crash on Sunday.

The 43-year-old singer, who sold over 15 million records, and recently won two Billboard Mexican Music Awards, was highly regarded in the music community.
