An auction of costumes and other memorabilia spanning Michael Jackson's career raised more than $5 million on Sunday, and Lady Gaga was among the buyers.
The singer tweeted, "The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide."
She also shared a picture of herself and a bidder's paddle from the Los Angeles event:

Julien's Auctions announced Monday that a Bad Tour jacket sold for $240,000, a white fantasy glove went for $140,000 and a second crystal glove sold for $119,000.
Other items sold at the auction included Jackson's 1973 Oscar performance ensemble ($51,200), a "We are the World" jacket ($40,625) a signed Captain EO shirt ($9,375) and signed loafers ($10,000).
The items came from the collection of Jackson's friends, longtime fashion designers Tompkins & Bush, Julien's added.
