Jamie Foxx is drawing criticism for calling President Barack Obama "our Lord and savior" at the recent Soul Train Music Awards in Las Vegas.
In the pre-recorded program that was broadcast Sunday night on BET, Foxx urges the audience to "first of all, give an honor to God -- and our Lord and savior, Barack Obama!"

The audience responds with cheers as Foxx shouts the president's name again and urges them to "stand up."
On the Human Events blog, John Hayward writes, "Practicing Christians are not amused by the portrayal of modern secular politicians as replacements for Jesus. But presumably their feelings don't count, because they won't burn anything down in outrage."
Catholic League President Bill Donohue notes that last December, Foxx said he didn't know what God meant to him. On the League's website, Donohue says Mr. Obama has apparently convinced "Jamie Foxx, and no doubt legions of others, that God exists."

Whether christian or not, I'll let you know that the
early christians in 1st century were tortured and killed because
the romans demanded caesar be called "Lord". Christians obviously responded that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Do you see how this is important to christians? I bet he wouldn't have said anything about Muhammad. The Muslims would have got that ass. He would have a threat put on him. But because he know black people aint gone do nothing but laugh and explain it away. Because nobody respects the black community, and he said it at a black event. God said he would not give his glory to any other and He meant that. Lord and Savior are titles for Christ and those are not to be given to anybody else especially BO
1. But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, NOT loving good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. 6 For among them are those who creep into households and captivate idle women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the recognition of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as that of Jannes's and Jambres's folly was also.
So what did Jamie do, he gave reverence of God's titles and His glory to another.
WE agree with Jamie, you PEOPLE are on the way to becoming the minority and you are shaking in your shoes. They found two old white guys to disagree with Jamie and who cares.
The time is near and you can feel it? Can you feel it? Be afraid.
Now get on your knees before Obama.
Jamie does NOT speak for the majority of AA's I assure you...only the ignorant such as yourself.
