"Two and a Half Men" star Angus T. Jones says the show is "filth" and wants viewers to stop tuning in.

The 19-year-old actor bashed the CBS sitcom in a video posted Monday by Forerunner Chronicles in Seale, Ala., on YouTube.

"Jake from 'Two and a Half Men' means nothing," Jones said in the video. "He is [a] non-existent character."

He continued, "'Two and a Half Men' - if you watch 'Two and a Half Men,' please stop watching 'Two and a Half Men.' I'm on 'Two and a Half Men,' and I don't want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth. Please."

"Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, and especially with what you watch," Jones also said in the video.

The video centers on Jones' relationship with the Forerunner Christian Church in California, where Jones says he went to meet his spiritual needs.

Show producer Warner Bros. Television has no comment. CBS hasn't responded to a request for comment left Monday.

The show, which is currently in its 10th season, stars Jon Cryer as Jones' uptight dad and originally featured Charlie Sheen as his hedonistic philandering uncle, but Sheen was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

Watch Jones' video below. The "Two and a Half Men" comments begin at the 7:37 mark.

REALLY !!! People, please get over it, the Bible was written by MAN. Why would anyone with half a brain follow a leader who thinks it's OK to KILL everyone in a city (even the children), sounds like another Hitler story.. There is ZERO proof that "A" "God" that ever did anything.... GOOGLE "questionable Bible verses" and then try to sell your line of crap... Don't get me wrong, I think religion is a good thing, and gives many folks hope when they need "something" to get them through the day. If it works for you, that's GREAT! Lets see, he makes over 12 MILLION $$$$ a year for doing what ??? for how many years ??? And he thinks it's "FILTH", but he's not going to quit, holy crap Batman. I use to believe in Santa and the Easter Bunny and I saw them at the mall, but I grew up and got over it,,, GREAT advertisement for "Two and a half Men" Angus, and people said you were slow.

Comments from a kid who believes in ghosts cannot be taken seriously. He should put his time and mind on things more useful, like studying history of religions, physics, biology and evolution. Maybe some quantum physic? Waste of cyber ink, writing about such a brain washed person...

You Know,I've Acted In plays for 40 years, and NOT ONCE have I ever taken on any characteristics of any villains I've ever played, nor have I ever let any show Negatively affect my behavior in my life!! I also consider myself a child of God,but apparently, unlike Kirk Cameron and this young man,I have subscribed to the parameter of the "suspension of willing disbelief",that is taught to any first year acting student in college!!In other words,in the words of Julia Sugarbaker in"Designing Women",I wouldn't think that way at all, because that would be STUPID!!

Of all the millions in unemployment lines today, I'd bet my first

I know my off-spring knows never to bite the hand that feeds you

he is under-qualified.

AAAAA-men!!It angers me,as an actor AND a Child of God,to know that there are millions of performers out there making personal and financial sacrifices, working their tails off to get the opportunity that Kirk Cameron and this little ingrate has had!!How dare they squander their GOD-given abilities and literally bite the hand that feeds them!!If they took or at least stayed awake in an acting class, they'd learn about the principle of "the willing suspension of disbelief"!!In other words,I've played Nazis in my time, but never once has my wife ever had to complain about my goosestepping around the house or taking my Swastika armband off when company comes!!

Good for him. When the show started I wondered why a parent would put their young son in a show about ungodly men -- promoting manhood to be sleeping around and a woman is someone who runs around with cleavage hanging out (as to say -- they may not know I a woman if I don't show some boob). The only smart women are shown as mean and someone you want nothing to do with. He was a young boy doing what he was told, there are age limits in our society for a reason, because a person isn't ready to make certain decisions. He has finally reached an age where he can stand on his own two feet. I do agree, he shouldn't tell people not to watch, because it is a waste of time. Evil people are too stupid to waste your time on. He probably wanted to express he didn't like what he was doing anymore. As for peoples comment "Biting the hand that feeds him"; maybe he can use the money for good. He earned it, he didn't choose to be there, his parents did. Good for him, and may god protect him.

What an idiot! Why doesn't he just quit if he hates it instead of taking the $$$$ and then spouting off? Hope he gets his little self fired - he certainly is asking for it. But oh wait, then he wouldn't be receiving that fantastic salary he enjoys so much. Hmmmmm, such a quandary . . . . .

It sounds as though his beliefs have him all mixed up. This was his bread and butter for many seasons, and for him to be bad-mouthing the show like he is doing shows he has no class. If you don't want to be on the show anymore, quit! I'm sure the writers can take care of that; but shut the F** k up about what is filthy, and let the viewers decide...
