"American Chopper" is on the chopping block -- but for good, this time.
The Discovery series will end its 10-year run after the Dec. 11 special "American Chopper: The Revenge."
"After 10 years and 233 episodes of incredible, riveting reality television, American Chopper will be ending its run," said Eileen O'Neill, group president of Discovery and TLC Networks, reports Entertainment Weekly. "This series was one of the very first family-based reality programs on television. Special thanks to Pilgrim Studios for over a decade of great producing. The Teutuls have given us really innovative bike builds and real drama since 2002. We wish both Orange County Choppers and Paul Junior Designs the best."
The motorcycle reality-documentary show follows the goings-on behind the scenes of the Orange County Choppers, a custom motorcycle fabrication company. It follows the Teutuls -- Paul Sr. and Jr., as they create motorcycles as works of art.
Paul Teutul Sr. appeared on season five of "The Celebrity Apprentice."
"American Chopper" airs Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET.

Dad Teutal was a jerk without class who only did good things if it benefited himself IMO.
Jr. was the talent of the group and he and Mikey IMO were why most watched the show. These two kids made Teutal SR. and they made OCC despite what Senior wants to tell everyone.
Look for OCC to go bankrupt within two years.
Junior has a smaller operation and we love the whole crew and Mikey, but without the show and being out of people's eyes, even they are going to see what they had fade.
I hope Junior and his crew makes it.
The show was great, I hope some other network picks some of the show up, maybe the Junior show alone.
I sure loved the innovation, the building of fine machines and Junior IMO was a gentleman IMO.
The fact I care should show any potential other TV channels that there would be a market for a new show.
I hated when "24" went down. I would watch this show, 24 and god help me "Flipping Out" on Bravo.... LOL
If Junior and the crew doesn't come back in some form on TV my wife and I are not going to quite enjoy TV the same way anymore.
In any case I wish the cast of the show well.
I don't want it to end to be truthful and if Discovery things Jesse or other shows are going to pick up the slack for them? Sorry, I find nothing else quite worth my time to watch there.
Thanks anyway Discovery for having this show, it was a keeper...
Good riddens to this family feud!
You're a moron.
