"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" earns $30.4 million in midnight sales

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" has already earned $30.4 million in midnight sales at the domestic box office, according to a report.

The final "Twilight" film set a new midnight record for the franchise, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The midnight sales for "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" totaled $30.3 million.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are all back for the last "Twilight" film, which earned mixed reviews and a 54 percent on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

The newest "Twilight" is projected to break the franchise's record $142.8 million, which was earned by "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."

"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" has already earned $13.8 million overseas.
