"X Factor's" 12 finalists took on "songs of the divas" on Wednesday night's show, which included hits by artists from Beyonce to Tina Turner.
Demi Lovato's Young Adults
Jennel Garcia kicked off the night singing Tina Turner's "Proud Mary," a song that left the singer a little out of breath.
"The X Factor" Season 2
Paige Thomas performed Donna Summer's "Last Dance," but Cowell found her choreography distracting.
CeCe Frey, who came in 12th last week, sang Celine Dion's "All By Myself," which the judges were not impressed by, but Lovato stuck by her contestant even calling Reid a "hater."
L.A. Reid's Over-25s
Tate Stevens, who came in the No. 1 spot after audience voting last week, performed Shania Twain's "From This Moment." Stevens received praise from all of the judges, including Simon Cowell who said he was ready to write him a check.
Vino Alan, who came in third last week, sang Tina Turner's "Let's Stay Together" and both Reid and Spears loved his performance.
Britney Spears' Teens
The 13-year-old Diamond White sang Beyonce's "Halo." She started off a little shaky but then ended up recovering and belting out the ballad.
Beatrice Miller, also 13, used her raspy voice and sang Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time," a song chosen for her by her mentor Spears.
Arin Ray, who ranked 11th last week, sang Madonna's "Crazy for You." None of the judges seemed impressed with his rendition.
Carly Rose Sonneclar sand Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" and the judges loved it. Reid said that he believes she will be the winner of the competition.
Simon Cowell's Groups
Lyric 145, the hip-hop trio, sang Queen's "We Will Rock You," but not all of the judges were feeling the groups performance. "You guys have lost your way," Reid said. Spears questioned the track that Simon chose for the group, saying "They're a hip-hop group and they should be doing hip-hop tracks."
Fifth Harmony, the all girls group, harmonized Mariah Carey's "Hero" and the girls shined.
Emblem3 sang Alicia Key's "No One." Cowell said he thinks the groups performance will help move them up in viewer voting this week.

- Last night's episode was a lot of fun to watch! Some of my officemates at DISH were worried about diva night since they are big fans of Tate Stevens. He had another strong performance though, and I think he will receive a lot of votes again this week. There were so many strong performances last night, and I can't wait to see the results show. I have class on weeknights though, so I'll catch up on the show using Prime Time Anytime on my DISH Hopper. My DVR automatically records all the prime time shows on the four major networks for me. Go Tate!
