Taylor Swift continues album chart reign

Taylor Swift continues her reign as queen of the Billboard Top 200 album chart.

The country/pop singer leads the tally for the third consecutive week with "Red," selling 196,000 copies, according to Billboard, which cites Nielsen SoundScan numbers. "Red" has now sold a total of 1.75 million copies in the U.S.

Swift, 22, topped the debut of the "Now 44" (99,000) compilation and Rod Stewart's "Merry Christmas, Baby," which remained at No. 3 with 74,000. Ne-Yo, meanwhile, landed in the fourth spot with "R.E.D" (66,000), and Aerosmith debuted at No. 5 with "Music From Another Dimension," its first new album of all new, original, material since 2001. The rock band's set sold 63,000 copies in its first week.
