With the wild success of Showtime's Homeland, it's no surprise to see other networks forging ahead with spy shows of their own, and FX is first out of the gate with The Americans.

Starring Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys, The Americans focuses on the arranged marriage between Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings, two KGB spies, whose children don't even know their true identities. As the Cold War escalates and their feelings for one another deepen, their dedication to mother Russia and ability to maintain a network of informants is constantly tested.

- Russian spies? Isn't that just a little out of date? I think it would be more realistic if it was about Chinese spies except that spies don't have to move to the U.S. any more. All they have to do is have computer Geeks who have been trained and educated enough to get into our computer systems. We should probably look at where, how, or who they got taught about computers from.
