Kirstie Alley dishes on her secret relationship with Patrick Swayze

Kirstie Alley reveals to ET's Chris Jacobs intimate details about what she says was a powerful attraction and hidden relationship with her North and South co-star, Patrick Swayze. Although both stars were married during filming of the mini-series, Alley tells Jacobs when she first saw Swayze, they had an intense attraction and she tried to avoid "going down that road," but they ultimately fell in love.

"Both of us were married. We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you're married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It's doubly bad," said Alley.

Alley goes on to say that although she's friends with Patrick's wife, Lisa Niemi, who asked Alley to speak at Swayze's funeral, she is uncertain whether Lisa is aware of their relationship.

Even IF it was true, what is the point of bringing it up now (besides an extra 15 minutes of fame). It's nothing but hurtful to his wife/widow who remained by his side during the best of worst times of their lives. Alley should be ashamed for dredging up such b.s. when Swayze is no longer here to defend himself.

I'm blown away by the comments made by Kirstie. Really...how disrespectful can you be. Patrick is dead and gone and Kirstie wants to pull this crap now. Considering her claims to "being in love" and having an emotional affair, with several different men. I think she is mixing up having a crush on someone with being in love. Shoot alot of us have had a relationship with Patrick...in ours dreams. That was part of his sex appeal. Kirstie you have gone to a new low, I hope your proud of yourself. Have you no compassion for his widow, evidently not! I am no longer a fan of yours.
