Steven Tyler may have jolted some people awake Friday morning when he uttered an expletive during a live appearance on the "Today" show.

The Aerosmith singer dropped an F-bomb while the band was getting ready to take the stage for a performance on the NBC morning show.

While Al Roker was giving a weather update, Tyler could be heard in the background trying to rev up the crowd ahead of the Aerosmith's first song.

"Thanks for coming out, you crazy [expletive]!" he yelled, according to TMZ.

Tyler also might have been a bit confused about which morning show he was on. Earlier in the show, E! News notes, "Today" showed a cutaway shot of the band in the studio as the former "American Idol" judge said, "Good morning, America!"

That greeting is also the name of ABC's morning program, which the "Today" crew took note of.

"No, no, no, no," Roker laughed. "That's why they haven't done morning television! They don't even know what show they're on!"

Nothing better to do?

Go back to FX... I miss the days when mature adults ruled the airwaves. Not these self-aggrandizing folks who will do anything for attention and rake in the coin because of it.
