Gangnam Style at the Country Music Awards?
That's right. The dance moves popularized by South Korean singer Psy in a viral video were part of the opening act by hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley at Thursday night's award ceremony in Nashville.
The two country artists join a long line of celebs around the globe who have given Gangnam a try, including Olympic athletes, "Dancing with the Stars" contestants, Chinese activist Ai Weiwei, Britney Spears, Ellen DeGeneres and U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Prison inmates have done it in a video as have cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy and the U. S. Military Academy at West Point.

The two CMA co-hosts also did their own version of the Maroon 5 hit "Moves Like Jagger," changing the chorus to "Moves Like Haggard" and adding a little whistling.
The opening bit also featured jokes about Willie Nelson, football and Taylor Swift. Paisley observed that the best trade was made by the Kennedys, who "traded Arnold Schwarzenegger for Taylor Swift."
Underwood whispered in his ear about Swift's split with teen Conor Kennedy, and, imitating Swift's new single, the two shout about "never ever ever getting back together."
