Mumford & Sons atop Billboard album chart again

Mumford & Sons continues to reign supreme on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. The band's new release, "Babel"  holds the top slot for a third consecutive week with 96,000 copies sold.

Billboard points out that "Babel" is the second-longest running No. 1 independent album in SoundScan history.

Earlier this month, the band's sophomore release sold a whopping 600,000 copies in its first week, marking the biggest U.S. debut of any album this year.

Coming in second place this week was Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "The Heist," which debuted at No. 2 with 78,000 in its first week, reports Billboard, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Jason Aldean released his latest album, "Night Train," this week, and insiders are predicting it will go straight to No. 1.
