Chloe Moretz as Carrie White in a scene from "Carrie." / MGM/Screen Gems
A new teaser trailer for next year's "Carrie" remake has arrived online.
The minute-long clip features a single shot looking over a small town, showing the fiery destruction wrought by Carrie White (Chloe Grace Moretz).
There's also a chorus of voices talking about Carrie, all seemingly reacting to that fateful prom night.
One of them says, "She wasn't some monster. She was just a girl."
The trailer ends with a close-up of Carrie, covered in blood and looking enraged.
This new version of "Carrie," directed by Kimberly Pierce, also stars Julianne Moore as Carrie's fanatical mother. The remake is said to have adhered more closely to Stephen King's novel than Brian De Palma's classic 1976 film.
"Carrie" will arrive in theaters on March 15, 2013..
